Editorial Policies

Adis Rapid+ journals aim to publish results from all well-designed and balanced studies in support of concerns raised in the GPP guidelines relating to publication bias.

All our journals are either fully open access or have an open access option, ensuring maximum global visibility of your work. Open access guarantees your research is downloadable by an international audience of academics, physicians, healthcare providers, specialist, and the public worldwide.

Authorship

Regarding authorship, Adis Rapid+ journals refer to the guidelines of the ICMJE. All individuals who do not meet the criteria for authorship should be listed in the Acknowledgments section at the end of the manuscript.

Adis Rapid+ journals view medical writers as legitimate contributors and requests their roles and affiliations be declared in the Acknowledgments section, thereby ensuring transparency.

Transparency

Personal, commercial, academic, and financial interests from all contributors must be cited in the Acknowledgments section of the manuscript, to ensure transparency. If this is not declared at submission, our Technical Editing Team will liaise with the authors to make sure that all relevant relationships and competing interests are included in the published article.

Guidelines on data

We welcome any original research manuscripts where the data has been presented at scientific meetings (in the form of abstracts or posters). Your manuscript should make reference to such presentation of the data in the Acknowledgments section.

Peer review

All articles undergo a strict, double-blind peer review, conducted by at least two independent experts in the field. Articles are evaluated for medical and scientific accuracy, clinical relevancy, and to ensure the paper is balanced, objective, and methodologically sound. All enhanced features undergo the same peer review process, to ensure they remain an accurate scientific representation of the manuscript data.

Plagiarism

Adis Rapid+ journals have a strict policy against plagiarism. We use anti-plagiarism software to check all submissions before peer review. Any sections of text/figures/tables taken from another’s work must be used with the permission of the originator, and referenced appropriately, with text placed within quote marks. Authors submitting to Adis Rapid+ journals must sign a disclosure form, declaring that the submitted work is entirely their own, and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

If you wish to use figures/tables that have been previously published elsewhere, you must obtain permission from the original copyright holder. Please provide proof of permission when submitting your manuscript. Alternatively, proof of copyright can be emailed to caroline.halford@springer.com
